Union Mills Learning Center offers a variety of programs throughout the year. 

MUSIC
​

We host a variety of artists at our music programs each month.  The evening begins with a meal offered for $6 at 6 pm and music begins at 7 pm.  There's no admission for the music.  A tip jar is available for the bands and is appreciated.  Bands rely on these tips for travel and performing expenses.  The 2024 schedule is:

 Projects

There are ongoing projects at UMLC throughout the year.  The Union Mills Community Wellness Park, which is located behind the main building, has activities for all ages and abilities.  Visitors can enjoy a variety of equipment, an asphalt walking trail, a series of inter-active stations, or just enjoying the scenery.  Seating is available in 2 gazebos or on  benches located around the trail.  A community garden and  fruit tree orchard also enhance the visit. Other attractions  are an outdoor stage for education and art events, and a Geocaching opportunity that is being placed in the park.   A Little Sharing Library is located in front of the main building. Our board members plan to schedule events regularly, both inside and outside the main facility.

UNION MILLS  WILDERNESS 5K/10K RUN

This annual race was held on February 24, 2024.  This event has become a popular attraction         over the last several years.  Participants run or     walk the 5K or 10K trails and enjoy the scenery of the Union Mills area.  The race is also open to      virtual run participants.   Proceeds are used for programs and improvements to the facility.  We want to thank our 2024 sponsors:  Farm Bureau-Wade Flack, Agent; Worley/Brown/Howell Family, McClure Self Storage, Peek of the Mountains,        Pritchard Heating & Cooling, All Around Tree      Service, Darby Farms, Polished Pros-Amanda      Smith, Parsons Wood Artistry, Gilkey Lumber,     Roger Tessneer, Andrew Tisdale Family,                Redline Audio & Performance,  D&D                     Landscaping&Construction, Rutherford                Overhead Outdoors, Kaylen and Reyna Ramsey,   and the Conner Family.
