Union Mills Learning Center's Mission

   

We are located at ​6495 Hudlow Rd, Union Mills, NC 28167

​Our mission is to promote programs that will enrich the lives of citizens in the Union Mills community and the surrounding area through arts, music, education, health, and wellness while striving to improve the economic conditions for disadvantaged persons in our area.

  

Goals for the Union Mills Learning Center include:

• ​Encourage community health and fitness that by providing a facility that is accessible and affordable.
• Provide increased opportunities for organized activities, clubs and events.
• Provide increased opportunities for local artists and musicians to connect with the public through education and performance.
• Provide free or low cost continuing education to disadvantaged persons.
• Seek out opportunities to create a connection with all communities in the Greater Union Mills area.
• Preserve the culture and history of the Union Mills community.
• Enrich the lives and social opportunities of senior citizens.
